My Last Blog, For Now

This is my Last Blog, For Now. This is my last blog for my English class for a required homework grade, but I have seriously really enjoyed this process and plan to continue my blogging. In my opinion this logging on and typing you thoughts, emotions, anything that is on your mind is a neat way to come to terms with the technology of today's lifestyle, and release some stress and pressure off yourself. I hope to continue blogging throughout college about college life, hopefully grad school life, and hopefully in the future about engagement, weddings, marriage and life long after these days are done. So, I do not end this blog with a "goodbye, nice to have ya," but a "goodbye to the end of a semester, hello to the rest of my life."

Lazy Days

Ah! The happiness you get from having a "lazy day." There is nothing better when you do not have anything pressing and you have time for yourself, to do what you want to do, whenever you want to do it. Today I was done with classes for the day at 10:45 a.m,it was a nice change and gave me more time in my "lazy day." My boyfriend makes fun of me when I take a nap first then get the little things done that I need to, it doesn't bother me, I enjoy these days, nothing can get me down.

Update of Me

An Update on my life lately, well.......
Lately I have been extremely busy with school! I have many exams and papers to study for and write between now and the end of semester. But, other then school things are good. I stayed up here for the halloween weekend which was very fun, but, I am beginning to miss home very much! Thankfully I am heading home this weekend to spend some much needed time with family and friends. With that said I have to get going and get to work on those papers!

I Think Fall Is Just About Over

Wow! What a change in weather we are experiencing just from week to week! We were very spoiled this fall with such beautiful weather and the fall colors lasting so long. Now I look around and I see mostly gray and brown, the leaves have fallen, the weather much colder. But, with colder weather comes the holidays, and the holidays are my second favorite time of year! But, with the holidays and Christmas break comes final exams here at school, and those are never good!!

It's Another Week In Toledo....

It's another crazy busy week in Toledo, Ohio for this UT student!! I have alot going on this week! I have half of it over with, now it is time to finish up my options part of my english Environmental Contaminants report, and then study for my anatomy lecture exam. Already this week i have had a anatomy lab exam, a music listening quiz and a rec therapy test!! It has been alot but I am looking forward to this weekend, a nice dinner and a movie date with my boyfriend and then a fun weekend with one of my really good friends back up here in Toledo celebrating halloween.

And The Weather Today.....

WoW!!! That was some weather we just got here about an hour ago!! I am glad to see that everywhere so far there is little to no damage, and no major accidents! I was scared for a little bit, before I knew we were at risk of a tornado by boyfriend was in Lima, Ohio which was getting ready to get hit by the storms at the time, and my mom was heading to Bucyrus, Ohio which was/is in line to get hit by the storms next! Evan got through the storms save and sound, as so did we up here in Toledo, so I am sure my mom will be just fine to! Be sure to be careful next time a storm comes rumbling through next time! Almost There

Here at the University of Toledo, we are past the half way mark till the end of our first semester!
Only eight more weeks to go!! The news is very exciting! It is unbelievable how fast the first half of the semester has gone by already! It feels like just last week we just moved in and were getting adjusted to being away from home. Before we know it we will be packing up for a nice long Christmas vacation with family and friends, after of course a well-enjoyed Thanksgiving vacation here in four weeks. :)

Not Much To Say.....

Not much to say about today.
My music quiz that I was suppose to have tomorrow got postponed to next Thursday...good news:)
One of my two anatomy exams I have next Monday got postponed to next Wednesday...good news:)
So other then preparing my study guide for my anatomy exams and listening to my required music for my music listening quiz I have to continue to work on my English report, study for my Rec Therapy quiz and prepare to head home this weekend! Well, that's it for now! Thanks For Stopping By!!!!

Back To School...For Two Days

Now it is time to get back into the swing of things with school. It is going to be nice to only have two days of classes. Friday afternoon once Emily comes to pick us up after she gets off work we will be on the road heading back home again. Friday I have my cousins seventh birthday party to go to, then on Saturday my mom and I are hosting a thirty-one bag party, and Sunday it will be off to the oak ridge festival for my family. Now it is time to relax and enjoy my quiet evening tonight before school starts back up.

The Aftermath of Fall Break

Fall Break was great! I really had a fun time, I enjoyed getting to spend time with my family and my friends. I did not do anything real exciting, mainly rode semi with my boyfriend as him and his uncles moved from field to field taking off beans and corn. I love going along with him as he farms, I love seeing him so happy, loving what he does. This weekend I rescued I little gray kitten who was running around Evans grain bins, we named her "Ruby." She is fun to have around, she is very energenic!

Fall Break

I am looking forward to fall break this weekend so much. This week is so busy and even more stressful, it's becoming too much to handle, not only do I have two quizzes, but also, I have two exams this week. There are just not enough hours in the day to to get completed what all that needs to be done! I am looking forward to having a relaxing weekend and just from studying so much! College is demanding and takes lots of time, but the outcome will be very rewarding. In three years and one semester I will be done and graduated and out in the world searching for a job!

Just an Ordinary Day....

Today was just another ordinary day, nothing exciting happened at all. Sometimes these kind of days are nice, but other times they are so boring! If you are walking through the health science building here on campus Tuesday-Wednesday 9am-3pm drop some extra change into the Recreational Therapy jar so we can help raise money for the charity we are working for!! Rainy Days

Sometimes rainy days can be the best days, or the worse days....
   Rainy days can be the best days when you get to stay curled up in your bed with comfy blankets until you want to get up, then lounge around all day in comfy clothes watching good movies, reading, or just relaxing.
   Rainy days can be the worse days when you have to get up really early and walk 10-15 minutes in the rain to get to class. Now don't get me wrong, when the weather is warm and it's raining, I love to watch the rain come in, smell it when it gets near and sit on the front porch watching it roll on through, even the occasional getting caught in the rain in the summer is fun. But, when it's the end of September, cold, windy and rainy...it's not fun. Like I said I absolutely love fall, it's my all time favorite time of the year...it's just days like today that make me dream of those warm summer days.

No Place Like Home

You know that saying "There Is No Place Like Home." That quote can not be any more true for me this week. I had been going home every weekend but two weekends ago I went to BGSU to stay with my sister and shop with my friend, and this past weekend I decided to stay up here to study for my anatomy exams on Monday. Not being home for three weeks is killing me!! I miss being on the farm, my parents, all my pets (which my cats had kittens since the last time I was home), and of course my boyfriend. Indeed Thursday cannot get here fast enough when I will be on the road heading home.

Just A Thought.....

So today is a Saturday, and what is there to do around campus...nothing! It's just a thought but maybe there should be activites or free events offered for UT students who stay for the weekend. This is my first weekend staying here and probably my last because it is so boring here. Yes, I know there is a mall near by to go check out and a movie theater, that charges ten dollars a ticket! Seriously, have they ever heard of "poor college students?" I don't know, maybe I am just complaining because I would rather be home, but instead I am up here. Oh well!

Just Another Day....

Today is just another one of those days that are considered "bah". I am still sick, which is very annoying seeing as I have been sick now for the last three days! I had a math exam this morning, I do believe I did (hopefully) well on it, there was one question I was not sure about and one part of another question I had trouble with. So now, I have an hour till my next class which is my Theory of Music class. I am excited for my mandatory major meeting today which will be after my music class. I hope to learn lots more about the Recreational Therapy program, and become more involved in the groups that the program offers. For now it's on to homework and relaxing until 9:30 rolls around. My First Blog

Today starts my first day of blogging!! I have experience reading blogs, but have never had one myself. The blogs I read are those of women who maintain blogs with their favorite recipes.
